Privacy Policy
Effective June 12, 2026
Finch Book ("Finch," "we," "us") is a booking platform for independent professionals, operated by Lite Work Designs LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to finchbook.com, the Finch Book mobile app, and the booking pages providers publish through Finch.
Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, and password (stored by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password itself). Providers also give business details: business name, services, prices, hours, location, photos, and branding.
- Booking information. When a client books, we collect the client's name, email, appointment details, and any notes they include, so the provider can deliver the service.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe or Square. Card numbers go directly to those processors — Finch never receives or stores full card details. We keep records of transactions (amounts, dates, status) to run the service.
- Content you create. Photos, posts, reviews, replies, class listings, gift cards, and scheduled social posts.
- Connected social accounts (optional). If a provider connects a Facebook Page or Instagram account to publish posts, we store the access credentials Meta issues and the content the provider schedules. We post only what the provider schedules — never anything else.
- Technical basics. IP address, browser/device type, and similar logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run bookings, payments, video sessions, classes, and the rest of the product.
- To send transactional email (confirmations, reminders, receipts, review invitations).
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and no-shows.
- To provide customer support.
- To improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make Finch work, and only what each needs: Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage), Stripe and Square (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (text reminders, where enabled), and Meta (only when a provider connects their own Facebook/Instagram account). Providers see the booking details of their own clients. We disclose information if the law requires it.
SMS consent and mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent information are never shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used only to deliver the transactional appointment text messages a client has expressly opted in to receive, and Twilio processes those messages solely as our delivery provider. Text-message consent is a standalone choice and is never a condition of using Finch.
Safety
We screen the text of public listings (profiles, services, classes, posts) for content that violates our Trust & Safety policy, and a person reviews every safety report we receive. Where the law requires it, or where we believe someone is in danger, we may preserve and disclose information to law enforcement, and we comply with mandatory-reporting obligations (including reports to NCMEC for child exploitation). Video sessions run live and are not recorded or monitored by Finch.
Retention & deletion
We keep information while your account is active and as required for legal and financial record-keeping. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time — see our data deletion instructions.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and business details anytime from your dashboard.
- Disconnect Stripe, Square, or a connected social account anytime.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Children
Finch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
